We have implemented various smart use cases in the new Zurich Children's Hospital. The focus here is on optimized user-friendliness for visitors, optimized processes for facility management and reliable data material for management decisions. In addition, the hospital can map further use cases with the installed hardware and continuously optimize operations with digital elements.

Use Case «People Counting»

With over 150 Xovis sensors, we monitor occupancy in restaurants, meeting rooms and corridors - for better space and workplace management. Of course, the whole process complies with data protection regulations and is completely anonymized.

Use Case «Asset Tracking»

Over 1,300 Anchors make it possible to track medical devices live anywhere in the building. This improves deployment analysis and supports service management. In addition, a “digital fence” is created to prevent the theft of valuable equipment.

Use Case «Way Finding»

Our indoor navigation helps visitors to find their way around the hospital by allowing them to scan QR codes anywhere on the premises, which guide them to their desired destination using their cell phone. For reasons of data protection and usability, a location and live navigation function has been omitted here.

Use Case «Hot Desking»

In the research building, we enable efficient workplace management, including the booking of workstations. Combined with the cleaning service, staff can be deployed in a targeted manner.
